From 25 May 2018 Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council regarding the protection of individuals in relation to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, referred to as GDPR, will become applicable.

Therefore, we would like you to be informed about the rules of processing your personal data by Softman S.A., as well as about your rights. We need to be certain that you are fully aware of these rules and thus feel comfortable with using Softman S.A. web pages. For this reason, before you start browsing our sites, please read the following information carefully.

We also assure you that we do care about your privacy and that we shall not increase our authority in any way. Your personal data are safe with us and your consent to collect and process these data can be withdrown at any time, according to the below mentioned provisions of “Information about Personal Data Protection”.

Information about Personal Data Protection on Softman S.A. Website

Softman S.A, with registered office in Piaseczno (05-500), ul. Gen. Okulickiego 5F (“We” or Softman), being the controller of personal data, collects your personal data derived from contact forms filled in at Softman websites (“Personal Data”), meaning specifically:

  • E-mail address
  • Company name

We collect your personal data in order to be able to send commercial information, provided we have your individual consent.

Softman may transfer personal data to the following third parties for the purposes listed in this document:

  • The body with which Softman has signed a cooperation agreement (“Data Processor”) in order to fulfil legal obligations to Softman, protect Softman rights in accordance with applicable laws and execute the legitimate interest of Softman in the meaning of data protection legislation; specifically, Softman may transfer your personal data to bodies such as: postal and courier services, companies we co-operate with which deliver marketing services. These bodies are obliged, under agreements concluded with Softman, to apply appropriate technical and organizational security measures, in order to protect and process personal data exclusively in accordance with instructions provided by Softman.
  • Supervisory authorities, public authorities and other third parties provided it is necessary to implement the above mentioned objectives and to fulfil the requirements imposed by law.

Softman undertakes to take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data. Your personal data will we stored by Softman and/or Data Processors, only as long as required to complete the purpose for which they were collected, fulfil obligations in accordance with applicable laws, for a maximum of 1 year.

You have the right to protect your personal data. According to the existing law of data protection, you are entitled to lodge a complaint to a competent supervisory authority (i.e. the President of the Data Protection Office).

Moreover, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access; the data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation from Softman as to whether or not their data are being processed, and, where that is a case, they are entitled to be given access to these data. When asked, Softman shall deliver a copy of your personal data undergoing processing.
  • Right to rectification; you shall have the right to rectify your personal data if inaccurate. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you shall have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement.
  • Right to erasure (“the right to be forgotten”); you shall have the right to demand, provided there are legal circumstances, to have your personal data erased without undue delay and Softman shall have the obligation to erase personal data without undue delay.
  • Right to restriction of processing; in this case, upon your request, Softman shall indicate these data and the processing of these data shall be restricted solely and exclusively to specified purposes.
  • Right to data portability; under certain circumstances, you shall have the right to receive your personal data, processed by Softman, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller
  • Right to object; under certain circumstances, you shall have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of your personal data and Softman may be liable to refrain from processing your personal data.
